As part of a feasibility study, different design scenarios for the transformation of the Goethering are being developed together with residents, stakeholders, students, and senior citizens. Through a broad range of participatory formats, perspectives are collected, spatial potentials explored, and possible future visions discussed.

The goal is a new allocation of street space in favor of active mobility, increased greenery, and significantly improved quality of stay. At the same time, the project aims to enable complete on-site rainwater retention. In total, around 300 new trees are planned.

The workshops highlighted the participants’ key priorities: more green spaces, places to linger, and areas for play and sports.
