As a further development of agropolis munich we build a town out of straw in the shape of the new quarter’s logo. With the financial support of the city of munich, four events take place in the urban development area of freiham as part of freiluftsupermark 2016. the project refers to the local history and it’s current agricultural use. The temporary use of freiham is one step towards the transformation into a part of the city. this process started already in 2009 as agropolis freiham and was meant as a sign of identity and vision to interlink urbanity with local food production.
Based on freiluftsupermarkt 2015 the concept is enriched with new ideas and the experience of 2015 and implemented into a new concept.
